I ordered my drum head on a Saturday night and within 12 hours (on a Sunday no less) I received a personalized message from Jim explaining that they were out of black porthole protectors. But Jim took a look at my design and suggested a brass one instead. He also included a redone picture of the projected design and frankly it was awesome. I agreed with him that it looked better and asked him to update my order. By the end of the day the order was updated and it was on its way. I received my drum head 3 days later and it is beautiful. Jim makes the best custom bass drum heads, Bottom line I have yet to see a company that can match either DrumArt's prices or quality. I've had two done over the years (if you're bored, look under Roots N Rhythm and Velvet Jones). The print quality really is incredible... way better than I expected. The integrity of the print outlasts the integr ity of the head, which for an Aquarian Regulator is an impressive feat. You'd be crazy not to order from DrumArt
