The artwork was good, but, they had a section for notes and DID NOT do anything I had asked them to do. Which may or may not have had something to do with them being on vacation. It also said that the headbuilder was a layout, and the only e-mail I received was one saying it was complete and being shipped. I think they should send you a picture of the finished product before they ship it to you. That way you know what you are receiving before they send you the wrong product. I also had a picture of a small character, which said they removed all lines from the picture, and they did not. I also had told them to do a different color background, and they did not. I will try them again, but very cautiously. Just make sure if you build your own head, you make it exactly what you want, because they do not follow directions!

Ordered a drum head with a sticker pack. Drum head came quickly and looked great, however stickers were delayed over 6 weeks and image quality wasn't very good. At a price of roughly $1/sticker I really expected better, especially given how nice the drum head looked. I felt like I had to pull teeth to get the stickers (after I e-mailed them when the stickers weren't with the drum head I was told they'd be shipped next week, but it took 6+) and communication was very poor. After several weeks I asked if there was an ETA and I was told they "believed" my order had shipped and would confirm and get back to me with a tracking number; they never did. I had to reach out again to check on the status only to be told they hadn't shipped yet. They ended up two-day shipping them to me a few days later, but after 6 weeks it felt like too little too late. Overall very nice looking drum head, which I would expect for the price, but the stickers and customer service felt really lacking. I'm not sure I would use/recommend this company in the future.

I recently purchased 2 (two) 22"x18" heads from them with my band logo in a custom font printed on the heads. The heads were the Aquarian Full-Force heads, a 5" chrome port hole, in a semi-gloss matte finish. I opted out of having the DrumArt logo on the front of the head which costs an extra $5 per head (I suppose I can understand why). After the completion of the order I was taken to a," Thank you for your purchase!" page but was never sent an email saying that they had actually gotten my order or that they began creating the heads. After being in-the-dark for a week I received an email saying they were about to ship the heads so I was pleasantly surprised about that. I inspected the heads carefully upon taking them out of the box and they were *EXACTLY* how I designed them. DrumArt got my design and bizzare, lengthty directions in the 'comments' box to a T. I wish they used Remo heads because I'm most partial and familiar with them and their products, but after installing the heads on my kick drums and having a practice session I think the Aquarian Full-Force heads sound fantastic, no qualms at all. I'm also a fan of the mini gift bag they sent with the DrumArt items and stickers of the drumhead art. 5/5 on all levels from me. Some people might say they're expensive, but I completely understand why the price the way it is... proof is in the pudding! I would definitely order from them again and recommend them to others.

I've been playing and gigging for over 35 years. With the newest technologies, things like custom printed drum heads have become more common place. What used to be reserved for the professional drummer/band or to the average drummer who was willing to pay the cost of custom printing, have now become available to all. But customer service will always exist and be of the utmost importance! What I have experienced with your company, is pure customer service, with the focus on the best interest of the customer! You could have just run the artwork through the way it was received, but you took it to the next level, to improve the original submission, and make it into a work of art.
