Every year we close DrumART HQ for a few weeks from mid-September to early-October to attend the greatest party in the world: Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.Β 2025 marks our 8th year (would be 10th were it not for the two COVID cancellations) and it is something we can't more highly recommend everyone do at least once in your lifetime.
That said, DrumART production will be CLOSED from Monday, September 15 through Monday, October 6.Β We WILL be accepting orders during this time and we are offering a very, very rare 10% discount on orders placed while we are away.Β We generally NEVER discount our products as a matter of principle -- our prices are as low as possible given the time, effort and incredibly expensive equipment involved in making our heads -- but given the extended downtime it seemed like the right thing to do.Β The discount is automatic and across the board.Β You will see it when you check out.
Orders will be processed on a first-in/first-out basis when we return starting on October 7th. Turnaround time once we reopen will depend on the number of orders received while we were away but we expect to be completely caught up with all orders placed during the closure by mid-October.
While we are away, we will only sporadically be:
- Monitoring e-mail
- Returning phone calls
- Really doing much of anything having to do with DrumART HQ until early-October.
That's why it's called a "vacation." ;-)
In the meantime, please see ourΒ online Help SystemΒ for answers to many of the most frequently asked questions we receive.
We have placed large orders with Remo, Aquarian, Evans, Gibraltar and Big Bang Distribution which are scheduled to arrive while we are closed.Β These will help with inventory issues and should carry us through the busy holiday season.Β The website inventory will be adjusted accordingly when we return.
Friends and clients of DrumART know that travel is hugely important to us so we often share what we're up to on the website while we're away.Β This year's Oktoberfest trip has us visiting not only Munich but also Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps, Salzburg and Innsbruck in Austria and our dear friends and the family of one of the foreign exchange students in the South of France.Β Rather than updating our cool new ShopShots image gallery with drumheads from the week, we'll update it with photos from the trip.Β So, be sure to keep an eye out there to see what we're up to!
In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and support and look forward to working with you upon our return.
Prost!
