Using the HeadBuilder

What are the different HeadBuilder modes and how do I use them?

HeadBuilder Studio, HeadBuilder Wizard, or your phone β€” which way in is right for you?

Three ways into the same designer. Same tools, same artwork, same design, same cart β€” pick the one that suits how you like to work, and switch whenever you want.

HeadBuilder Studio β€” everything on one screen.

The left toolbar holds Head Options, Backgr., Add Images, Add Text and Ports. Your head sits in the middle and you work on it directly: click anything to select it, drag to move it, and use the handles to scale and rotate. The right column keeps a running summary of what you've built and what it costs, with Add to Cart at the top.

Use Studio if you're comfortable with design tools, or once you know what you want and just want to get at it.

HeadBuilder Wizard β€” the same design, six numbered steps.

The Wizard walks the build in order: Head Specs, Background, Add Images, Add Text, Ports & Extras, then Review Proof. A Your Build progress bar tracks where you are, and the green Next Step button always shows where to go next. Nothing is hidden and nothing is missing β€” it's the same toolset, handed to you one decision at a time.

Use the Wizard if this is your first head, or if a screen full of controls isn't how you like to start.

On your phone β€” the whole build, mobile-enhanced.

On a phone, the Wizard runs the same six steps with controls sized for thumbs and Back and Next in easy reach. Your work saves as you go, and the Desktop option in the menu hands the design off to a computer whenever you want a bigger canvas.

Start on the couch, catch an idea at rehearsal, or show a bandmate β€” then finish anywhere.

Switching takes one click. Studio's header has Switch to HeadBuilder Wizard, the Wizard's has Switch to HeadBuilder Studio, and on a phone the menu carries the Desktop hand-off. Your design comes with you.

Tip: sign in before you start. Signed in, your designs follow you across all three β€” begin on your phone at rehearsal, finish in Studio at home, and it's the same design the whole way through.
