Artwork and Design
Can I include manufacturer logos on my DrumART custom bass drumhead?
Yes β as long as you legitimately own and play the brand you're advertising, you're allowed to put its logo on your head. We've built 34 manufacturer logos into the HeadBuilder, plus the DrumART mark, to make it easy.
Two companies (Yamaha and Gretsch) have specifically asked us not to give their customers access to their logos through the designer, so those aren't included.
A few conditions, and they're all about making the logo look right: it has to be clear, legible, and in a color that contrasts with the head and the artwork behind it. We also reserve the right to remove a manufacturer's logo where the surrounding artwork may be offensive or objectionable, or where the logo itself isn't properly sized, proportioned, or the company's official mark.
More In Artwork and Design

- What image file types/formats/sizes can you work with? It depends which way you're ordering, and the difference is worth knowing.
- Can you create artwork for me? Yes, absolutely β with one important distinction up front.
- What does "Allow DrumART to Enhance Design" mean? The HeadBuilder is powerful, but sometimes a designer's eye makes the difference.
- Can you match the finish on my kit? The answer is yes.
- Am I required to include the DrumART logo on my drumhead? Absolutely not.
- Are there any restrictions for what I can have printed? Generally: if you have the image, we can print it.
- Can I buy a head from your Customer Design Gallery? Unfortunately not.
